Writing

Paul began writing at university penning sketches for The Cambridge Footlights and other student revue companies. His comedy sketch writing continues through several children's TV programmes such as Jigsaw (BBC), CBTV (Thames TV), Abracadabra (Channel 4) and Seeit Sawit(BBC).

Paul moved on to longer form comedies and co wrote sitcoms for both BBC1 and Radio 4.

As well as this broadcast writing, Paul has written internal and external corporate communications videos for many of the UK's leading corporate communications agencies working for a slew of Britain's blue chip companies.

He now also writes as a freelance journalist (see journalism page).

Paul co-wrote with Richard Turner three series of the popular radio 4 sitcom, which starred Richard E Grant, Peter Capaldi, Douglas Hodges, Amanda Root and Paul Bigley.

A 13 part series on science and technology for Channel 4.

A musical divertissement for Disneyland Paris, co created with show director, Christophe Leclerque.

A four D short film for Blackpool Tower.

CORPORATE WRITING

Working with many leading communications companies such as The Edge, Jack Morton Worldwide, CTN, Dependable Productions and Straker Films, Paul has written employee videos for many of Britain’s blue chip companies, from IBM to BAE systems, from HSBC to Lloyds , from M&S to Vauxhall as well as public bodies like The Cabinet Office, and DECC. Many of the programmes he has worked on have won industry awards.

Paul has recently been working with property consultants GVA both on video and on their lecture series, Evolving London.
